FAQs
DRIZLA Olive Oil – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
About Our Olive Oil
1. What is Wild Olive Oil?
Wild Olive Oil is made from naturally grown, uncultivated olive trees—called wild olives. These trees grow in the mountains and forests, not on farms. Because of this, Wild Olive Oil is rare and packed with natural goodness, strong taste, and high antioxidants.
2. How is Wild Olive Oil different from Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)?
Wild Olive Oil comes from wild trees and is more intense in taste—sometimes slightly bitter and spicy because it has more natural polyphenols (antioxidants). EVOO is also cold-pressed and pure, but usually made from farm-grown olives. Both are healthy; Wild Olive Oil is just stronger and more unique.
3. Is Wild Olive Oil healthier than regular olive oil?
Yes. Wild Olive Oil usually has higher antioxidants, which help protect your body from diseases, aging, and inflammation. It is one of the most natural and powerful oils you can use.
4. Is DRIZLA olive oil cold-pressed?
Yes, all our DRIZLA Wild Olive Oil and EVOO products are first cold-pressed. This means no heat or chemicals are used—only pressure—to keep all the nutrients and flavor inside the oil.
Cooking & Usage
5. Can I cook or fry with Wild Olive Oil or EVOO?
Yes. You can use both for light cooking, sautéing vegetables, or finishing dishes. For deep frying, a lighter olive oil may be better, but Wild Olive Oil is best used raw—on salads, bread, or after cooking—for maximum health benefits.
6. Why does Wild Olive Oil taste strong, peppery, or bitter?
That’s a good thing! The strong taste means the oil is rich in natural antioxidants and is very fresh. This is especially true for Wild Olive Oil.
7. What’s the best way to use Wild Olive Oil in my daily life?
Use it in salad dressings, dips, on toast, or drizzle on cooked food. You can also take 1 tablespoon daily in the morning for health.
Health & Quality
8. What are the health benefits of Wild Olive Oil and EVOO?
They help lower bad cholesterol, support heart health, reduce inflammation, improve digestion, and boost brain function. Wild Olive Oil, with its high polyphenol content, is especially powerful for natural healing and detox.
9. Is your olive oil good for skin and hair?
Yes. DRIZLA Wild Olive Oil and EVOO are both pure enough to be used for skincare and hair oiling. They provide moisture, shine, and nourishment—naturally.
Storage, Expiry & Buying
10. Does olive oil expire?
Yes. Olive oil stays fresh for about 18–24 months after harvest. Always keep it in a cool, dark place. Do not store it near heat or sunlight.
11. How should I store my DRIZLA olive oil?
Keep the bottle tightly closed in a cool kitchen cabinet. Do not put it in the fridge. Never leave it open or in direct sunlight.
12. What does “First Cold Press” mean?
It means we extract oil from fresh olives without heat or chemicals—just one time. This keeps all the flavor, smell, and nutrients safe inside the oil.
13. Is DRIZLA olive oil organic?
Yes, our Wild Olive Oil is naturally organic because it comes from wild trees that grow without pesticides or fertilizers. Our EVOO is also made using organic farming methods
